Kanani coaches women with Post Concussion Syndrome who are struggling with brain fog, anxiety and exhaustion to reclaim their mental clarity and joy. After overcoming many of her own debilitating symptoms, she is now on a mission to help others feel confident in the new person they’re becoming. Kanani is a proud wife and mother of 3, living in beautiful Shenandoah Valley, Virginia.

My Story

After a horrific car accident, I suffered silently with Post Concussion Syndrome for years. I was tired and in pain all the time. My condition was so severe that most of the time I rarely left my house, basically becoming a hermit. Every day I simply existed.

I struggled with constant migraines, experienced horrible sensitivity to light and sound, and found it impossible to get anything done all the while feeling helpless, isolated and alone.

I went to multiple Dr.’s, and tried countless medications, but eventually was told I needed to learn to live with the pain and accept that I wouldn’t be able to do much anymore.

And then I had the opportunity to move to Virginia, the VERY PLACE I had dreamed of living one day. But I was still barely functional at the time, certainly not in any condition to move cross country.

THIS IS WHEN I KNEW THAT I HAD TO FIND AN ANSWER.

I was missing out on everything. I had to find an answer. I avidly researched, desperate for a solution to my life that was suffocating. I was amazed to realize the important role of diet, lifestyle and mindset for healing. Who would have guessed the answers for my head were to change my perspective - shift my whole mindset. I started treating food as medicine - adding in nourishing foods and eliminating those that exacerbated inflammation.

Gradually and steadily I got my life back. Once I'd finally cracked the code on this, and with consistency, everything started to fall into place. Not having to struggle to just get through the day allowed me to free myself from anxiety, regain my confidence, work more productively, and enjoy life again. I went from feeling isolated and hopeless to confidently loving the "New Me" I’ve become.

Because of this life-changing transformation, I wanted to shout from the rooftops to others who were struggling and tell them they can do this too!

So if you are suffering in silence like I was - just know that it doesn't have to be that way. You can get your life back. There are things you can do to turn this around so you can start living the life you know you were meant to live.
